Rumors of illegal slave trade along the coast between the capital city and Luskan have reached the Lords of Waterdeep. Slavery has been outlawed for decades and this would be a bold breach of those laws if true.

Embarrassed by the growing sense that the council has done nothing to address these tales of kidnapping, looting, and abandoned villages, they have dispatched a privateer vessel—the battle tested ship named the Remorhaz—to investigate.

Will you put a stop to these despicable acts? And if there is a larger conspiracy behind them, where will your pursuit of justice take you?

This introductory module is the first in a series of adventures designed for characters to progress from levels one to twenty. It is ideal for new players and new Dungeon Masters, and presents simplified game mechanics and DM tips, so you won't need to dig into your rulebooks—unless you want to!
