In Search of the Evil Knight is a short expedition optimized for 3rd-level characters, written using the 2024 D&D ruleset. It is set in the Greyhawk campaign setting, but it can be easily adapted to other fantasy worlds, being it essentially a simple hunt-for-villain scenario.
Recently an evil knight clad in an ancient armor claimed to be Narek, the lost son of Kas the Betrayer. After this astounding announcement the man publicly stole the Golden Orb of the March from Froghome, challenging the city authorities to retrieve it. The Orb is the city most revered symbol, its history tracking back to Froghome’s founding. The city ruler is searching for brave adventurers able to assault the fortified house Narek chose as his base near the Rushmoors, offering 500 GP as a reward for the returning of the Orb.
