Path of the Monolith - Barbarian 5e Subclass

Publisher: Dungeon Masters Guild

Path of the Monolith -- Barbarian Subclass (5e)

The ground fractures beneath each step, the pure weight of his rage making the earth itself flinch. Blades glance off skin hardened like weathered stone, and enemies find themselves slowed by broken earth and buckling ground. The barbarian does not pursue; he stands, and the battlefield reshapes itself around him.

Warriors who follow the Path of the Monolith become living stone in battle, their skin hardening and their presence alone reshaping the ground around them to their will. When they stand their ground, the battlefield must adapt.

These barbarians are often found among mountain tribes, stone circles, and ancient ruins where the land is revered as a living thing. To them, strength is not speed or savagery, but endurance. They do not charge, instead standing their ground.

Inside, you'll find:

  • A fully written, PHB-style Barbarian subclass
  • New Features:
    • Stonebound Rage (3rd-level)
    • Earthshaking Strikes (3rd-level)
    • Unyielding Mass (6th-level)
    • Groundbreak (10th-level)
    • Living Monolith (14th-level)

This is a subclass I had made 4 months or-so back for my table's barbarian, looking for something more Con-focused rather than Strength. Pretty fun idea, so I provided.
