The Wizard: School of White Necromancy Subclass for 2024 D&D 5e
The School of White Necromancy is a homebrew Wizard subclass for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, built for those who want to not dominate but commune with the cosmic cycle of life and death. All Necromancers learn to manipulate the energy that animates all creatures. This manipulation of life and death is considered taboo in many societies for good reason as many such Wizards abuse such powers and souls. However the Wizards of White Necromancy not only understand such power but respect it, honoring both the lives and deaths of the souls and corpses of which they channel arcane power through. These Wizards can commune with the souls of the dead, learning ancient secrets from beyond the grave to boost the health of the living and dead, summon undead with freewill intact, use knowledge of the dead to alter spells and even boost the undead around them to fight onwards. These so-called White Necromancers know there is much wisdom in death that no amount of brute force can unlock but given to those that respect death.
This Subclass includes:
- Necromancy Savant. Learn Necromancy spells cheaper and quicker.
- Mortality Spellbook. Grant Temporary Hit points with your Necromancy Spells and enhance other's healing magic.
- Benevolent Soul. Summon freewilled undead creatures without Concentration.
- Death's Whispers. Discover lost truths to alter your spells, attacks or mind.
- Death's Ally. Grant nearby undead gain Advantage on attack rolls and saving throws.
