The halfling god Arvoreen watches over the Hin (halflings) and their communities and has instructed his followers to do the same. Many of those who find themselves in Arvoreen’s favor become known as “Arvoreen Warders” and often serve as trackers, military officers, and watch officers. In the past, only halflings could become Wardens. In the last century, folks, big and small, have taken the god’s watchful eye as inspiration for their own heroic journeys and careers. In turn, he’s blessed their efforts.
The Arvoreen Warder is a Fighter Subclass inspired by the 3.5 Prestige Class of the same name. It gives your abilities to watch over and defend those closest to you, as well as the community as well.
This subclass gives you benefits like Trapfinding, which gives your Proficiency in Sleight of Hand and Thieves' Tools, and Uncanny Dodge.
You also get Special Strikes for defensive fighting and catching criminals without killing them.
The ability Team Player lets you use the Help Action and still make one attack.
This subclass could be used for campaigns in cities or small towns where a Warder occasionally leaves the community to combat threats to their home.
