Pages of Fate is a story-driven D&D 5e one-shot adventure for 3–4 players of level 3–4, built around mystery, investigation, and meaningful roleplay.
When rumors spread that a dragon has destroyed the nearby village of Alderwick, a group of adventurers sets out to investigate. The survivors claim the beast showed unusual restraint, leaving many alive and entire roads mysteriously untouched.
As the heroes follow the trail through ruined villages and growing political tension, they uncover the truth behind the attacks: a powerful Regent who has enslaved a brass dragon using cruel magical restraints, forcing it to terrorize the region while tightening his control over the people he claims to protect.
But the deeper the heroes dig, the stranger the story becomes.
Something — or someone — may be watching their actions from beyond the world itself.
And when the final page is reached, the heroes will discover that their fate was never entirely their own.
