Every 50 years, parties can face The Paladin’s Gauntlet, a grueling challenge where only the mightiest and noblest of warriors can triumph. Now it’s your turn.

When an old knight, tired in body but honorable in spirit, calls upon you to help with his last regret, there’s only one thing to do. It’s time to face the Gauntlet’s trials, discover its hidden secrets, and maybe even save all of Faerun.

A four-hour (or more) adventure for Tier 4 characters, set in the Forgotten Realms.

Run the Gauntlet

The Paladin’s Gauntlet features a series of challenges, each based on a different Paladin oath. Protect nature in the Trial of Ancients, determine justice in the Trial of Vengeance, and test your strategies in the Trial of Conquest (to name a few examples).

Each oath has unique challenges that may try you in ways you’ve never seen before, from tests of morality to battles of wit to impossible choices.

Plus: alternate trial options for additional Paladin oaths, which we’ll keep updating as new oaths are added!

Did you think your party was the only one facing The Paladin’s Gauntlet? Compete against rival teams in head-to-head challenges, or make allies who will help you reach the end. Think you can best the Paladins of the Lion or the Dragon Rangers? Let’s find out.

Fierce Foes

Let’s face it: once you hit level 17+, you can face pretty much anything in the Monster Manual. So we threw some of the most exciting encounters we could think of at you. Battle against some of the biggest baddies D&D has to offer, because Tier 4 is where you get to cut loose and make the gods themselves tremble.

Just try not to tire yourself out too early, because there are plenty of challenges yet ahead.
