Monster Manual Spotlight: The Volodni examines one of the more unusual peoples presented in the Monster Manual: Forgotten Realms Appendix II. Born of ancient woodland magic and bound to the will of the forest, the volodni stand apart from mortal races. Though humanoid in shape, they are not flesh as others know it. Rooted in the land that birthed them, they endure beyond the rise and fall of kingdoms.
