Sorcerers of the Borrowed Bloodline have magic that was never meant to be theirs. It was taken, implanted, siphoned, or inherited against the will of its original owner; and most times, even against the will of the receiver. Whatever its source, the power inside them does not rest easy, as it strains and resists, occasionally lashing back, as if remembering another purpose…

Borrowed Bloodline Sorcerers learn to work with unstable magic, drawing strength from sources they cannot fully control or predict. Their spells can surge with force, but every such act risks consequences. 

To wield this power is to accept that someone, somewhere, still has a claim on it.
