The Bard: College of Cursing Subclass for 2024 D&D 5e
The College of Cursing is a homebrew Bard subclass for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, built for those who want to bring ruin to others with wicked words. These Bards see the broken hearts shattered by others as an affront, using harsh words to supernaturally sap the confidence and heart of others, drive an enemy to their doom and utterly ravage a creature's soul, mind and body leaving them a wasted husk. These offensive words wielded by the Bards can tear at one's heart, fighting fire with fire as they take the art of wicked words against those who wield them unjustly.
This Subclass includes:
- Vicious Retort. Reduce an opponent’s saving throw with Bardic Inspiration and a Reaction.
- Wicked Words. Curse an enemy to take more damage.
- Sticks and Stones. Creatures cursed by you have their Hit Point maximum reduced when failing a saving throw.
- Words can always hurt you. Curse a creature to gain a level of Exhaustion at the start of their turn.
