Carrion Conclave - Ranger 5e Subclass

Carrion Conclave -- Ranger Subclass (5e)
The forest is quiet, but the wind carries a scent older than today’s sunlight. Bones lie half-buried under fallen leaves, and crows wheel overhead, searching. The ranger moves with patience, stepping between the decay and life alike. When the moment comes, the scavengers descend as one, pecking and herrying, and the enemy finds themselves surrounded by the consequences of the deep wild itself. Nothing lives forever, but the range ensures that death always serves the living.
Some rangers find their strength in life; others in the inevitability of death. Those of the Carrion Conclave track the fallen, call carrion to their aid, and study the forest’s clean-up crews to survive and protect the living.
Carrion Conclave rangers thrive in places where predators have fed. They are not grim for the sake of it; they are just observant and intimately aware of the cycle that binds us.
Inside, you'll find:
- A fully written, PHB-style Ranger subclass
- New Features:
- Scavenger's Instinct (3rd-level)
- Carrion Companion (3rd-level)
- Natural Rot (7th-level)
- Deathwarden's Step (11th-level)
- Swarm of the Fallen (15th-level)
I wanted to sort-of reverse the common stereotype of ranger's being all about living things and forests, and instead have one be all about the natural death (circle of life) that happens in the forest.
