The Green Patron is a homebrew Warlock subclass for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, built for those who have been called upon by the living embodiment of the elemental force that animates all plant life to become the incarnate of nature's wrath. These Warlocks have made a pact with the cosmic energy force that connects to all forms of plant life across the multiverse known as the Green, ensnaring opponents when they strike with spells, enhance the plants you grow with dangerous blooms of razors, fear or entrapment and summon treants to fight alongside you. These Warlock find themselves bound in the service of the very force that protects the natural world a power that few can withstand and with pact sealed now so are you.
This Subclass includes:
- The Green Spells. A garden of spells to trap, grow and commune with nature.
- Eternal Roots. Cast Concentrationless Ensnaring Strikes after hitting a creature with a weapon or cantrip.
- Briar Patch. Enhance Plant Growth or Spiked Growth spells with dangerous blooms of razors, fear or restraints.
- Rooted Defense. Become Immune to Prone and Restrained conditions and immovable near sizeable plants.
- Tree Warriors. Summon a pair of treants to join you in battle.
